I have been in the same rut lately & I can't seem to get out of it.
It makes me feel sad.
It makes me feel guilty.
It makes me tired.
It makes we want to change.

When I read Casey's post, it inspired me to write this post.

Being a stay at home Mom is what I always wanted...it is a blessing, it is fulfilling.
But it is also hard.
I have days where I just want to hide.
Days where I count the minutes until Brooks gets home.
Days where I cry.
I feel guilty, selfish, less of a mom, and I wonder if anyone else feels this way.
Am I a bad Mom for feeling this way sometimes?
Am I a bad Mom for needed a break sometimes?

No, I know I am not, I know other Mom's feel this way.

But I am tired to feeling this way.
I am tired of wading in my selfishness.
I want it to stop.
So I need to change.
But change can be hard.

But for 2012, my goal will be CHANGE.

I want to be more joyful
I want to change my attitude
I want to change my heart
I want to be more tender
I want to be more patient
I want to change the ugly things about me
I want to be more loving...especially to strangers
I want my children to see Jesus in me

I want Jesus to be that change in me.
I can't do it without him. 
This year I want to let him in...to be that CHANGE in me.

Welcome 2011: Here Are My Plans For You!

WOW! It is officially 2011...crazy how fast the years go by anymore! Isn't it kind of like mandatory to make goals and big plans every New Year? Well it feels like it is...so I will share a few of my own.

2011 Blog Plans:

1. I am excited about participating in Rachel Denbow and Elsie Flannigan's Project ReStyle! As they describe it: Project Restyle is a just-for-fun creative group focused on ReStyling damaged, unwanted or unusable goods into fresh, beautiful pieces.

I already have two items in mind that I can't wait to start on!
Of course I will share my progress with you all! :)

2. I am also excited about participating in The Bewitched Bookworms 2011 Audio Book challenge! I have already started on this one...I am currently listening to 'Infinite Days' by Rebecca Maizel. (Find out more about this here)

3. I am bringing back Monday Mash Ups, I will be sharing all the books I plan to read this year with you, I plan on documenting a few projects around my house I am going to be doing, adding many new designs to the Etsy Shop which I will be sharing here, having some fun giveaways & more!

2011 Personal Plans:

1. After baby #3 comes (due Jan. 24th) I plan on kicking it in high gear and gettin' skinny! (Isn't weight loss on everyone's New Years Goal list?!)

THIS SCARES ME.

2. I am pretty sure this was a goal last year that didn't get fulfilled...but learning to sew is another goal for this year!

3. I want to really grow my Etsy shop business & my personal Avon & Mark Buisness. I would love to bring in enough extra income & stay at home full time with my 3 kids! (I currently work 1 1/2 days outside the home)

4. I really want to get my home organized...we have a small house (970 sq feet) and soon to be 5 people living in it! It is crammed to say the least. We have remodeled the outside of our little cottage house & now I really want to find ways to make the most out of the little space we have on the inside!

5. I want to get my much coveted Nikon camera and work on my photography skills as well.
