12 Days Of Christmas: Photo Christmas Card Giveaway

12.04.2012

I am so excited to kick off my 12 days of Christmas Series today! Sit back for a fun couple weeks of Christmas DIY's, Recipes, Printables & more from me & some of my favorite bloggers!

I'm excited to kick off today by sharing my family's Christmas Cards with you & introducing you to the designer of Lil' Sprout Greetings. I asked Amanda to tell us a little about herself + share some of her favorite things about Christmas!

Stay tuned below for a chance to WIN your own custom, photo Christmas Card template too!

HI! I'm Amanda! In 2006, when my son was only 6 months old I began looking for Christmas cards that would let me share photos of him in a fun way. Most of the well-known photo sites were very limiting in regard to color, shape, and were templates.

I started playing around with some new computer software and discovered how much I enjoyed creating my own cards and invitations. Friends and family raved about our Christmas cards that year and they convinced me to take a leap-of-faith and open my own business.

Lil’ Sprout Greetings began that year with our website: lilsproutgreetings.com. A few months later, in July 2007, I expanded the business to our Etsy shop. I originally intended to only offer children’s birthday invitations and birth announcements, but customer requests led to the creation of announcements and invitations for all occasions. What makes Lil’ Sprout Greetings so popular is that the cards are not made from templates. I can change the colors, fonts, and photos on our designs to suit each individual customer.

Favorite part about Christmas: Traveling to Maine to see our family. We live 600+ miles away from any family so we only see them a few times each year. It’s also fun see my parents experience Christmas with my 6 year old son, who is their only grandchild. They miss the soccer games and school concerts, so at least they get to be part of Christmas!

Holiday Traditions: Every year we pick out a new ornament for the tree that has the year on it. This is something that my husband and I started when we were married. We also make sure to do the advent calendar and a gingerbread house every year.

Favorite gift: My engagement ring that I received 13 years ago! My husband was serving in the military and had been away at training camps since August. He returned home a few days before Christmas and surprised me on Christmas Eve with a Grinch doll that had a ring box stuffed under his santa hat!

I found Lil Sprout Greetings while doing an Etsy search for my family Christmas Card for this year & instantly fell in love! I mean a chalkboard themed Christmas card? YES, PLEASE!

I couldn't decide which picture to use, so I ordered some of both! I got my pictures printed via Walmart.com and they turned out really awesome! I think this is my favorite Christmas card to date!

Amanda was nice enough to offer one of you your choice of photo card for your family Christmas cards this year!
