Hi! I'm Dani! I'm an eco-conscious girl who works at a zoo, but in my spare time I love to create needle felted wool critters and make fun jewelry! I get a lot of inspiration from my day job (working with animals and children), spending time outdoors and from traveling adventures with my husband. I love trying out new crafts, gardening and reading. I really love being a part of this handmade community!

I can’t live without: Lists.  I love lists, and I love making them.  I have a list-in-progress with me nearly always. 

My favorite Blogs are: Hyperbole and a Half--a visit to her blog usually ends in fits of laughter.
This is how I like to Relax:  Oh, give me a glass of wine and a book, and I am a happy girl.
My favorite Tv Shows/movies:  I love anything with zombies!
My favorite materials to work with are:  wool and fabric
My Hometown:  Mountain Home, Arkansas
My favorite room in my house is:  The garden!   

Because: I know, it's not an actual room, but I love spending time working in the garden growing healthy, organic food and pretty flowers!  I also enjoy playing with my three chickens in the backyard. :)
My favorite vacation was in:  Italy.  My husband and I traveled throughout Italy for three weeks last September.
My guilty pleasure is: Well, one of my days off from work falls on Friday....so I watch two soap operas. A guilty pleasure for sure!
I feel naked without: Clothes? ;)  And lip balm.
This is what makes me smile:  Planning new traveling adventures with my hubby!
You may not know this about me:  I am a vegetarian, and I work at a zoo!  But, surprisingly, the former did not stem from the latter.
My Worst Habit: Um...I procrastinate....a lot.  I always have, and I probably always will.  Why fight it, right? :)
I want to learn to: Knit!  A friend just showed me the basics a couple weeks ago.  I can't wait to start a project!
My favorite item I bought from another shop is:  First of all, I can't stop buying things from Orange Thyme.  Her lip balms are to die for!  But I also bought this tea towel. I smile every time I use it! 
My advice to other Etsy Sellers:  Be true to yourself and your style. 
The most popular item in my shop is: My most popular items seem to be my origami crane earrings.  But my favorite items are my needle felted critters--especially the chickens and snowy owl!
3 tools in my studio I can't live without:  A plethora of colored wool for felting, super sharp scissors, and baskets to organize the craziness!
