Inspiration Workshop Week 1: Handmade

Inspiration is all around us.
It comes in many forms.
I love searching for new inspiration.

So it's perfect that Gussy Sews 
created the Inspiration Workshop.

Each week we get a new inspiration prompt to interpret. 

Today's prompt was HANDMADE.

 

When I hear Handmade, I think: 
special, unique, love, treasured, meaningful, keepsake

I was looking through my Mom's hope chest I inherited and found my old baby quilt. It was made my either my Grandmother, or my Great Grandmother. 

It is so special to me! 
It embodies my definition of Handmade.

It has become even more special now that I have children I can  pass it down to.
