Naptime Diaries Canvas: Ephesians 4:2

 24x30 Canvas c/o Naptime Diaries

There has been a long list of amazing friendships I have made through this handmade/blogging community. One of those is the relationship I developed with Jessi. We met last year at the Influence Conference (she is a co founder) and I instantly knew she was someone I would develop a friendship with. Someone I could see myself having regular coffee chats with if we lived closer.

Jessi asked me to be involved in her verse of the year Canvas project and I was more than happy to do it! She asked that I pick a verse I was going to be praying over for this year and then asked me to pick a design scheme.  I chose Ephesians 4:2 and said that I am currently obsessed with B&W stripes and gold! I think she nailed it on the design!

I chose this verse for my verse of the year because I am not a patient and gentle person, and it is not something I am proud of or something I can fix myself. But it is something I long for.  Last year at the Influence Conference, Jessi said something that has stuck with me ever since. She said "don't go home thinking of what you can fix. Go home empty and let Jesus fill you up." Praying over this verse this year is my way of letting Jesus fill me up. I realize that I must work at it too and really be accountable, but with Christ, all things are possible. FILL ME UP JESUS!

Jessi is generously offering 15% off with code jessicandesigns until Feb. 27th for you to use on anything in the Naptime Diaries shop, including my custom Ephesians print
